01:41 pm - Always a lot more stupids. From Gawker:
Hey! Check it out! The top of Glenn's head!
Gawker has mentioned The Onion a few times in the last month or two, mostly in comparison to ever-shrinking New York Press, which very often contains wonderful music reviews from Chris G., and once a quite charming one from Ms. Footprint. But none from me. Ever. Goddamn you NEW YORK PRESS!! Goddaaaaaaammmn Yoooooouuuuuuu! (*Chris Moreno shakes fist*)(I'd really like an icon of that, please)
Of course, I should probably mention that I never submitted any more reviews since that first one that made it in and then didn't.
Anyway, here's a comment on this week's Onion "strike."
Comment: I noticed that this week's issue has an anti-union proviso at the top.
Is this satire? If it is, it's not up to your regular standards. For an employer to call its employee's actions "unwarranted & unwise" without providing any information as to the strike, or links to the union, is unwarranted & unwise itself. For a paper with left-liberal sensibilities, I'd expect better. Until I learn The Onion is treating its unionized workers fairly, you're losing a regular reader.
Oh well. Goodbye reader! Goodbye!
For any of you interested ( go_go_mcnulty, orly_sf, and lex_ruthless), I would just like to add, NO MORE STUPIDS!!! And also, while we're at it, Hey, Why You Keep Fucking Me?
